FAQ

Questions, answered up front.

Do you accept insurance?

This is a cash-pay practice. I provide a superbill after each visit so you can submit for out-of-network reimbursement directly with your insurer — coverage depends on your specific plan.

What's your cancellation policy?

I ask for 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations inside that window are charged 50% of the appointment fee. No refunds.

What states do you see patients in?

Currently licensed in New York, with New Jersey reactivating and multi-state coverage expanding through the Nurse Licensure Compact (targeting NJ, PA, FL, and CT).

What do you treat, and what do you refer out?

I focus on gut health, chronic inflammation, metabolic dysfunction, weight-loss resistance, and fatigue/brain fog. I refer out acute or emergent conditions, PCOS/fertility care, and mental health conditions — always to make sure you get the right care, not because of a gap in the plan.

Is this safe if I have an urgent symptom?

No telehealth visit or async message should ever be your first move for chest pain, shortness of breath, stroke symptoms, suicidal thoughts, severe abdominal pain, GI bleeding, signs of infection, hypertensive crisis, or severe dehydration. Call 911 or go to your nearest ER.

How does payment work?

Payment is simple: we accept cash and major credit cards. We’re not billing insurance at this time — so there’s no surprise about what’s covered and what isn’t. If you’d like to seek out-of-network reimbursement on your own, I’m happy to provide a superbill after your visit.

How does messaging work between visits?

Async messaging is included for 3-Month, 6-Month, and Membership patients, with a 1–2 business day response time. All other inquiries get a response within 48 hours.

Do I need a referral to book?

No — you can book a free discovery call directly.
